Hooray!! I survived the winter. I get so depressed when everything is dead and gray. Today is the first day of Spring, and so far it has been an excellent one. I was able to grab hugs from my Aunt Judy and David. I saw my mom and got to hug her and talk for the first time in almost two months. Plus, I get to see some more of my awesome family for dinner tonight. I'd say that's a pretty good start to the Spring season! I have to say I'm a little nervous about dinner, because this will be the first time my family is meeting my boyfriend, Roger. Hopefully it will be fine, and they will love him as much as I do. Past boyfriend-meeting-family scenarios have not gone so well though, so everybody cross their fingers.So back to Spring- everything is already so green and beautiful. I think it's going to be an awesome season this year. I'm looking forward to canoe rides and hiking and being outdoors as much as possible!! Happy First Day of Spring!!

I love your blog. Welcome to the blogosphere. It is awesome that you and your mom got to visit and I am thrilled to have collected a hug. I am looking forward to dinner and meeting Roger. I'm excited to share more time with you and to meet someone who makes you happy. By the way, I too love the first day of spring but always celebrate it on March 21st because that is the first full day of Spring. It is fantastic to see the flowers in bloom here and the sun shining later in the day. You are terrific, both beautiful inside and out. Judy
